Death, disease and tragedy...they seem to affect all of us. The question is how we respond. It's easy to see yourself as a statistic or a part of a system of probabilities, but seeing yourself as facing a possibility is much more effective. Our problems are opportunities or challenges; they are NOT another chance to fail. Feelings of guilt or failure just hold you down. Recognize that the past is over and it is time to do something right. People who have a positive outlook on life actually get through difficult times much more effectively.
