A new way to teach!

It's different than most universities teach. People who care adapting teaching styles in a way that involves emerging curriculum. Curriculum that comes from the spirit and movement of kids. In northern communities this is particularly true. Kids learn with movement, song, dance and lots of outdoor education. Rows of desks followed by a mantra of 'sit still and be quiet' simply don't work. Teachers and administrators who recognize that kids learn differently and that meeting their emotive/physical needs will raise their academic performance will thrive. Many of the northern staff throughout Canada know this and need administrations and governments that support unique approaches to education that serve groups of people that have often been neglected and expected to fit within an old European paradigm. Way to go teachers that care and teach outside the box!!!!!!! TJS
